Student services
INTO is dedicated to ensuring that you feel totally safe and supported. When you first arrive, your caring Student Services team will help you settle in to student life in Norwich.
There are a range of 24/7 support services, including a 24-hour emergency telephone number and residential wardens within student residences.
Visa workshops offer information, support and guidance on renewing your student visa. And individual appointments are available for more specific advice.
Language advisors speak a range of languages including Chinese, Russian and Arabic. They're here to help you if you don't yet feel confident communicating in English.
Housing services
INTO's student residence offers you the chance to live as part of the vibrant University of East Anglia student community, just 3 minutes walk from the INTO study Centre.
All rooms are modern and fully furnished, with en suite shower rooms and free wireless internet access. Kitchen and dining areas are shared, and games and satellite TV are available within the INTO Centre for your enjoyment.
This safe, comfortable living environment also offers 24/7 support from on-site residential staff.
Library services
The University library is only a few minutes' walk from the INTO Study Centre. Open 24/7, it offers access to over 260 computers, as well as over 800,000 volumes of books and journals. You can also take advantage of quiet-reading rooms, group study and seminar rooms, and a helpdesk for any questions.
ICT services
You'll benefit from extensive IT facilities across campus, all with essential software packages for both PCs and Macs. Staff will be happy to help you develop your IT skills, and to direct you to tutorials and guides for any specific needs you may have.
Sports facilities
You'll have full access to UEA's university sports facilities, which were ranked fourth in the UK by the The Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2016.
At the £30 million Sportspark, you can enjoy:
- a 50m Olympic-sized swimming pool
- an indoor fitness centre with cardio equipment and weight stack machines
- badminton, squash, basketball and volleyball courts
- a ten metre high climbing wall with bouldering cave
