Campus life
The EKU-Corbin Campus is the largest of Eastern Kentucky University's regional campuses. Over 400 undergraduate and graduate classes are offered each year to help area residents realize their potential and achieve their dreams. We serve both traditional (ages 18-24) and non-traditional students.
Sports facilities
- Alumni Coliseum (Paul S. McBrayer Arena) has been the home arena for Eastern Kentucky University basketball since the 1963-64 season. The arena seats 6,500 fans for athletic endeavors and up to 8,000 for other events.
- Originally built in the 1960s and named for legendary coach Charles “Turkey” Hughes, Turkey Hughes Field has been the site of 13 EKU OVC baseball championships. Located beside Alumni Coliseum, the field has dimensions of 330 ft. X 415 ft. X 340 ft.
- Located on the Eastern By-Pass next to Patty A. Clay Hospital, the EKU soccer complex is the home of a 115x75 yard field with Bermuda grass maintained by an in-ground irrigation system.
