For this purpose, MEF University was founded by İbrahim Arıkan Education and Scientific Research Support Foundation in order to continue this success of MEF Educational Institutions that make a difference with 47 years of knowledge and experience in education.

Taking its first students in the 2014-2015 Academic Year, MEF University is on the way to become a university that creates added value on a global and local scale, with its different education and training model, which prioritizes entrepreneurship, innovative thinking and creativity.

MEF University is endowment-supported university, established with the mission to graduate internationally competitive forward-thinking students and to bring together leading research-oriented scholars, who will make globally-significant contributions to their professions, to science, and to technology.

Campus life
MEF University campus is located in Maslak, a financial and commercial center on the European side of Istanbul. Facilities are brand new, secure, and high-tech. The campus is conveniently situated within a walking distance from a Metro station, and adjacent to a culture and arts complex with a wide variety of activities.
