Many of our chemistry and physics students experience research under the direction of the faculty. This research often leads to presentation at regional and national meetings typically during the summer months. Research also leads to publication in peer-reviewed journals. The mission of the Office of Student Retention at Mansfield University is to offer support, information, programs, and services which foster the success of our students. These initiatives are embedded in the Office of Student Retention, and then are conducted in collaboration with students, faculty, staff, and departments throughout the University. In helping students overcome challenges, the office provides leadership, assistance, or referrals as necessary.
The Library is located on the first four floors of North Hall and has several special features to promote the efficient use of information in both printed and electronic forms. The Library has been designed to highlight traditional subject strengths such as those for music and education and also to provide immediate access to electronic information via extensive computer networking.
The Mansfield University Campus Technologies Division (CT) promotes, develops, acquires, installs and supports technology and enabling applications for students, faculty, and staff through group and individual initiatives on campus and in the region.
The Club Sports program mission is to provide a broad spectrum of sport, recreation, competitive, and leisure activities for all students of Mansfield University. These activities should promote healthy , wellness, leadership development, and physical activity. The Club Sports program is designed to enrich the University experience while providing a training ground for leadership, organizational development, and teaching with the support of the University community. The emphasis of the program is student leadership, development, and involvement.
