The incentive funds administered by the Research and Creativity Council are intended to support faculty research and scholarly and creative activities that lead to the preparation of a competitive proposal submitted to an external agency.

Through its mission, the Buffalo State College Career Development Center (CDC) provides comprehensive services to matriculated undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, employers, and faculty/staff. The center's staff assists students and alumni with career exploration and decision-making, gaining valuable experience, job search preparation, finding jobs and internships, and selecting and applying to graduate schools.

Library services

Butler Library has more than 546,000 printed books, 320,000 electronic books, and access to full-text articles from over 79,000 unique print and electronic journals. We hope that having access from any computer or wireless web device, any time of the day or night helps our patrons to do their research more effectively.

ICT services

Resources for Information, Technology and Education (RITE) is a unique collaboration dedicated to computing and instructional technology support for the SUNY Buffalo State community.

The campus is surrounded by trendy cafés, museums, restaurants, shops, parks, and Victorian-styled housing. Accessible by car or bus, the campus is approximately 20 minutes from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
