History
In 2015, the Institute celebrated its 60 years of expertise in the training of specialists in the major domains of management. The programmes it offers have kept developing and have become ever more professional and international. More than 17,000 graduates represent the School all over the world.
Education
Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management-IAE has been entirely dedicated to higher education and research since 1955. The School offers a whole range of programmes (Masters, MScs, MBAs, Doctorates) specialising in the various domains of management (including 6 programmes exclusively taught in English). They are constantly up-dated to meet the needs of the business world.
The School's capacity for innovation is exemplified by the number of new programmes and the continuous development of its research activities. Pedagogical methodologies include the use of multimedia equipment, distance learning, corporate games or management games.

Career
Our graduates quickly find employment on the job market. This testifies to the quality of AMGSM-IAE’s training programmes (M1, M2, MSc, Doctorates and MBAs), and shows they fully meet the needs of enterprises. One third of our students follow apprenticeship programmes and already benefit from on-the-job business experience. 93% of our graduates are recruited on management positions within 6 months after graduation.

Student services
The international relations department is the first point of entry into the school. A specific orientation day is organized at the end of August for international students. A series of information sessions is offered in August and September to help complete all administrative procedures: Migration Office, residence permit, registrations, opening a bank account, finding accommodation, insurance, opening a telephone line, etc.

Student have access to 90 desktop computers, a DTP workstation and laser printer and ink jet printers.
Medical services
The Preventive Medicine Office is in charge of improving the medical care of students and developing prevention and educational initiatives for health.
Students can make an appointment with a doctor, psychologist, gynecologist, nurse, osteopath or dentistry student for all medical problems, at the SIUMPPS. Free visits but no prescriptions can be given.

- The IAE Aix-Marseille is located in the south of France in Aix-en-Provence, an attractive and dynamic student city, in the heart of a region of tourism and culture with a privileged climate.
- The school benefits from the proximity to the second French metropolis, Marseille, the great port of the Mediterranean and the major economic center of the South. The Aix-Marseille area is served by an international airport, two high speed train stations (3 hours from Paris) and a dense motorway network.
Sports facilities
The school also has a student sport association (BDS) which promotes sports and sport meetings within the school or during student competitions with other schools and universities. Whatever the level is, it is always exciting to join their teams: basketball, football, volleyball, rugby ...

AMGSM-IAE has a very dynamic student life. Thanks to a student union (BDE) composed of a motivated and resourceful team, students can participate and carry out various projects and events on a daily basis.
The student union successfully aims at: making student life more exciting, enabling students to take part in extracurricular activities, integrating them and more generally to provide them unforgettable memories.
Besides the numerous life student events organized very frequently, there are some memorable projects like Culture & Gastronomy, the launching of the local guide « L’Aixplorateur », Humanitarian projects, the vineyard trip, the international lunches, collects for humanitarian project ....
The high quality standards of AMGSM-IAE training are backed by the EQUIS and AMBA international accreditations. Only twelve French schools hold this double accreditation and AMGSM is the only public business school among them. The School’s programmes also enjoy leading rankings in numerous press league tables, at the national (Challenge and l’Etudiant magazines) and international levels (Financial Times ranking, SMBG).
