Pepperdine University School of Law began as the Orange University College of Law in Santa Ana, California, in 1964. The school was acquired by Pepperdine in 1969. By 1975, the Pepperdine's School of Law had received its full ABA approval and full State Bar Accreditation. In 1978, the school moved to Pepperdine's 830-acre campus, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, California.
Our programs are designed to provide hands-on legal training that students can translate to the real world. In the online Master of Legal Studies program, students practice their skills through virtual simulations in the online classroom and in-person projects during residencies.
The Career Service teams of Pepperdine University exist to empower students and alumni to achieve lifelong professional success, through mentoring, access to career development tools, and leveraging the strength of the Pepperdine network. Ultimately students and alumni are prepared for lives of purpose, service and leadership.
Located in the coastal community of Malibu, California, the Pepperdine University 830-acre campus has been ranked the most beautiful campus in the nation by The Princeton Review.
The School of Law is located on the university's graduate campus and boasts a 40,000 square-foot law library with ocean views, as well as conference rooms, classrooms, a dining hall, ample technology services, and on-campus housing.
