History
Founded in 1892 as the Ithaca Conservatory of Music, Ithaca College was located in downtown Ithaca until the 1960s, when the present campus was built on South Hill overlooking Cayuga Lake.
Education
Ithaca College offers more than 90 majors and 70 minors through its five schools. Following is a breakdown of undergraduate enrollment by school:

Research
The psychology department faculty members have a diverse set of research interests. Faculty expertise includes training in clinical, counseling, developmental, experimental, cognitive, neuroscience, educational, industrial/organizational, statistics, and social psychology. All psychology majors receive close contact with faculty members through our unique research team program.

Centrally located in Job Hall, the Information Technology Service Desk provides technology support for students, faculty and staff for a variety of technology areas. Our dedicated team of full time professionals and knowledgeable student employees are committed to ensuring our clients have an exceptional technology experience.
Medical services
The Ithaca College Center for Counseling, Health & Wellness (CHW) values collaborative relationships with members of our campus community. Our Outreach and Consultation Services aim to help members of the IC community address mental health, wellness and physical health concerns in a student-centered and holistic way.
Campus life
The Emerson Suites serve as one of the most adaptable and popular events venues on campus, hosting year-round activities such as student performances, trade shows (from Educational Technology Day to job and internship fairs), late-night social events, and conferences.
