History
University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus is Pinellas County’s only residential, public research institution. Located on Bayboro Harbor and in the heart of the city’s Innovation District, the USF St. Petersburg campus offers more than 40 undergraduate and graduate programs.

Sports facilities
The USF St. Petersburg Campus Recreation Fitness Center is a 9,000 sq. ft. facility located inside the Student Life Center. The Fitness Center is comprised of cardio, strength, and free weight zones, as well as a multipurpose studios. The Center also houses a state of the art functional training room.
Student clubs
The Office of Leadership & Student Organizations at USF St. Petersburg seeks to empower students to enhance their aptitude as leaders and understand how they can make a difference, whether as positional leaders or active participants in a group or community process. The office strives to engage all students in purposefully designed leadership programming and experiential learning opportunities that support the mission of USF St. Petersburg, along with being a hub for student organizations.
