Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) was established in 1997 and has grown to be one of the most prominent private universities in Malaysia.

Our campus grounds and facilities are designed to provide easy, unhindered access to disabled members of our student community and faculty.
Library services
Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) Information Resource Centre nicknamed IRC was established in July 1997 as a support centre for academic activities of the university. Housing an approximately 210,000 volumes of items, the collection comprises of a wide variety of printed and non-printed materials ranging from books, periodicals, in-house reports, audiovisuals and multimedia.
Medical services
The wellbeing and health of our students and faculty are among our top priorities. UTP has its very own health centre – staffed by experienced medical personnel – to provide emergency and routine health services 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Campus life
The campus is built on a 400 hectare (1,000 acres) site strategically located at Bandar Seri Iskandar, Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia. The university is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PETRONAS, the national oil and gas company of Malaysia.
Sports facilities
Apart from ensuring students have access to world-class academic facilities, UTP also makes physical fitness and co-curricular competitiveness a priority. All students will enjoy full access to an array of sports and recreation facilities in our dedicated sports complex.
