History
Since it was founded as Central Christian College in 1950, Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City has maintained strong ties with the Churches of Christ as a higher learning community. We are a Church of Christ university that transforms lives for Christian faith, leadership, and service.
Education
We're a big-league city that's shaking up the state. Both cultured and quaint, you'll find no shortage of things to do: adventure, food, sports, history, outdoors and art. Located in the heart of Oklahoma and the state capitol, you will be in the center for professional internships, shadowing and mentoring.
Research
The hoops shooting, approachable, prayer warrior is all about serious business, but doesn’t take himself too seriously. When clever engineering students pulled off a prank to hoist a treadmill onto a rooftop, deSteiguer went for a high altitude run. The university leader is easy-going, quick to smile and listens intently. Peanut M&M’s always fill his office candy dish with a box of tissues nearby so he can celebrate or empathize whenever needed.
Career
The Career Services department is available for students who need assistance in finding employment during school and after graduation. Career Services also provides assistance in interviews and help with marketing yourself to employers.

Residence Life works to facilitate thriving communities that help students to learn and grow. We offer students a distinctive 4-year residential experience, providing safe facilities with modern amenities-- everything you need to thrive at OC. Here, there is room for all. While at OC we encourage students to engage deeply in their community; students here are living, learning, and growing together.
ICT services
OC is very technologically savvy and equipped with Apple. Informational Technology Services is available to students who need assistance with their computers and/or Apple handheld devices.

Sports facilities
Oklahoma Christian University is involved in many sports, which provides great opportunity for students who love to play and represent their school, and is great for students who enjoy watching a good game of basketball, baseball, soccer and much more.
Student clubs
Many OC students join and participate in social service clubs. The clubs’ mission is to have a positive impact upon club members, the student body and campus community, and the Oklahoma City metro area.
OC’s social service clubs participate in activities throughout the year, including Homecoming events and the annual Spring Sing variety show.
