The football industry has developed tremendously over the past years and continues its spectacular rise as witnessed by increases in TV rights deals, transfer numbers, and participation levels, to name just a few, around the world. Sadly, due to a lack of professionalism, transparency and ethics a lot of scandals keep taking place and more fans and stakeholders than ever are demanding change.
Education
The 12 months in the Professional Master in Football Business from Football Business Academy are divided into 4 modules:
- Module 1 - 3 months online classes.
- Module 2 - 3 months online classes.
- Module 3 - 3 months of Guaranteed Internship in the football industry.
- Module 4 - 2 months in Lisbon, Portugal with on-site classes. You will be working in the Student Business Project (SBP) which is a real consulting case for one of our partners. Also, it is included some Field Trips around Europe where we take the students to different stadiums and clubs.
Research
The SBP will be sanctioned by one of our Partner Network members and will give Candidates the opportunity to work in teams on a real project given by a football club, federation, or other football-related organization, thereby allowing them to keep moving forward into the football industry.
Career
91% Employability rate. For the Football Business Academy, the most important part of the Master’s program is actually when the Candidates graduate. It does the maximum in order to help them securing a job as soon as possible.
Alumni are currently working for companies such as UEFA, NWSL, Coca-Cola, Puma, New York Red Bulls, Liga Portugal, Liverpool FC, socios.com or world class football agencies such as Avid Sports & Entertainment (representing players such as Aaron Ramsey) and Entourage Sports & Entertainment (working with players such as Roberto Carlos, Lionel Messi or Sadio Mané).
