History
In 1890, a Baptist minister named Rev. George Harvey Ball had a vision. Today Keuka College continues the original mission of founder George Harvey Ball by educating young students and adult learners “to bring strength to our nation and to help humanity” through combined classroom and experiential learning activities. Housing services
From first-year rooms with a lake view to apartments on the lake, Keuka College's residence halls are incredible places to call home during your college years.
While each residence hall has a different character and community, they all have free laundry and fast WiFi.
Library services
The Lightner Library is the information center of Keuka College. It provides study space for 400 students and has over 108,000 volumes. In addition to its print and non-print holdings, the Lightner Library provides access to a variety of electronic resources including index and full-text databases as well as e-books and e-journals.
Medical services
The Health and Counseling Center is located on the first floor of Keuka Commons. The Center provides assessment and treatment of common and emergency health and emotional concerns. Whatever your concern may be, we can help.
Campus life
The home campus is a place where people are engaged in the contemplative, mutually supportive work of deep learning—about themselves, each other, and the unmet needs of the world.
Sports facilities
Our fitness facilities are equipped to facilitate all facets of resistance and cardio training for athletes, exercise enthusiasts, as well as beginners. We boast three fitness locations:
- Fitness Center - Features cardio machines, free weights, and functional training equipment. This is the place to be for a great core workout or cardio session.
- Strength Center - This space is outfitted with power racks, free weights, and restistance machines.
- Group Exercise Studio - Lined with functional training equipment, this space offers versatility to your workouts. You can also cue up a workout from the Fitness on Demand kiosk - think Netflix for exercising! Workouts include Zumba, Insanity, P90X, Yoga, and hundreds more.
In addition to Keuka College’s institutional accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the College has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).
