St. Thomas Aquinas College

History

Founded in 1952 by the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill as a teaching college, we have grown to a 60-acre campus, providing a safe, welcoming place to study more than 100 majors, minors and specializations in the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business and the School of Education.

Education

At St. Thomas Aquinas College, we’ve created a welcoming, caring and challenging environment for learning. Intensely student-centered academic activities and vigorous student-life programs are purposely combined to enhance the educational process and to foster intellectual, moral, social and spiritual growth.

Housing services

Students should become familiar with the College’s policies, procedures, and services regarding the certification and accommodation of disabilities to enable them to advocate for themselves. New students are encouraged to register as soon as they commit to St. Thomas Aquinas College, or at the time that the learning, physical, or psychological disability presents.

If your accommodation is approved it is your responsibility to self-advocate by communicating, as needed, with faculty, staff and/or your supervisor to assist in the implementation of auxiliary aids, services and/or academic or employment related adjustments that the College has determined should be provided.
