History

TH Rosenheim is located an hour's drive away from the Bavarian capital Munich and the Austrian city of Salzburg. The university's key areas of expertise are Business, Technology, Design and Healthcare studies. Established in 1971 the university is best known for its Faculty of Wood Engineering and Construction.

Education

TH Rosenheim is known for its open and friendly atmosphere. Whether it be the students, the lecturers, or the staff, everyone is very committed to working together to shape the university. Housing services

Munich Student Union halls of residence: the student service provider runs two halls of residence here with a total of 345 spaces. Student rooms for international students are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Room rates are around 300 EUR per month. However, room reservations can only be made after being admitted to your degree programme in Rosenheim. 

Library services

University members can use the library independently of their location to a large extent via the homepage. An installed and activated VPN client, as well as a library user number are required for access.

ICT services

The Online Community is a central port of call for current information and dates relating to all aspects of studying, as well as study material for the courses. 

Medical services

Students are required to have a sufficient insurance cover. Please contact a Germab statutory health insurance company. To enrol at TH Rosenheim, you have to provide proof of health insurance with an electronic report (M10)  by your health insurance company.

Campus life

Campus Rosenheim is located about 20 minutes by foot from the city center of Rosenheim. Basically, all important locations within Rosenheim can be also reached by bike within ten minutes. Just in oposite of the street you can find two student residences, which offer affordable accommodation for students: CampusRO and Munich Student Union. The campus has a friendly atmosphere and modern buildings which provide an ideal learning environment.

Sports facilities

To ensure that it’s not just your thinking muscle doing all the exercise, a wide range of sports are on offer to provide for a healthy balance. We have something to suit everyone, from beginners through to champion competitors, whether it’s something you do on your own or together with others in regional clubs, amateur teams, and university sports.
