History
It was the last generation of the old west. Hitching posts — wooden beams used to tie up horses — still dotted the dirt roads of Santa Barbara, California, an isolated small town along California's Pacific coast. But times were changing.

Campus life
SBBCollege opened its Ventura campus in 2003 serving students from Ventura County cities, including Oxnard, Ventura, and other nearby communities. The college offers associate's, bachelor's and MBA degree programs and shorter-term job training programs. Graduates of all programs receive job-placement assistance and other career services.
Santa Barbara Business College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award diplomas, associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees. The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is federally recognized by the US Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
