Our story began in 1963, when the Milton S. Hershey Foundation gave $50 million to The Pennsylvania State University to establish a medical school in Hershey. We were the first medical school in the nation to have a dedicated Department of Humanities and a Department of Family and Community Medicine.

Cable television is available by arrangement with our Cable TV vendor. Local area telephone service is also provided to University Manor tenants. There is no charge for on-campus telephone service or local telephone service.
All University Manor Apartments provide both wired and wireless data connectivity through AT&T Wireless Services.
We offer a variety of wellness programs focused towards weight management & nutrition, and emergency preparedness training. Employees are also offered free flu shots and tobacco cessation courses.
Fitness and physical activity classes are available at many campuses. In addition, some campuses offer discounts on gym memberships and access to recreational facilities.
