History
Universidad Isabel I is named after Queen Isabel I de Castilla, the best-known Spanish woman of all times. She greatly contributed to building the first modern state, and the world as it is today to a great extent. Queen Isabel I was a pioneer in advocating human rights, and promoting culture, education, and gender equality.

Universidad Isabel I offers the possibility to study official degrees and double degrees online. We also take into consideration the recognition of ECTS and proven professional experience of students with university degrees or Higher Vocational training.

The Employment Area of the Isabel I University was created with the mission of offering exclusively to its students, graduates and collaborating companies services in the area of professional orientation and labor insertion in order to optimize the employability of its students and to capitalize on the Training obtained at Isabel I University.

Campus life
Universidad Isabel I premises are located in a landmark building in Burgos historical centre (C/ Fernán González, nº 76). It extends to 6.534 m2 in five floors and the main university areas and departments are found here. In addition, the University research activities are developed in the R&D building, which extends to more than 2000 square meters in four floors.
