Industry engagement goes back to Swinburne’s origins in 1908 as a technical college, and our leadership in industry-based learning in the 1960’s.

More than half a century later we are still breaking new ground in industry co-design and co-creation of programs that equip our graduates for the future world of work; for example, through our industry partnerships in the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship.

The Faculty of Business and Law conducts excellent and impactful research that spans a range of traditional and emerging concerns in business and society.Our research recognises the diverse challenges facing business enterprises across the private, community and public sectors. Our practical, evidence-based research seeks innovative solutions to economic and social problems in the business domain.
