Career
With IU’s newest hybrid study model under the Study Abroad Alliance, you can now study in the US, Canada, Australia, or Europe – while saving on overall costs. IU has partnered with universities across the globe so you can start a degree online at IU and complete your final year on campus, at the partner university.
The Study Abroad Alliance makes studying abroad more affordable compared to pursuing your entire degree programme (typically 3-4 years) at the partner university. Plus, you’ll benefit from IU’s discount, that’s available to their online students.
Once you’ve completed your studies on campus at the partner university, you will also get a chance to secure a post-study work visa – just the first step towards working and living in your dream destination.

Campus life
For those who want to study and live in Germany, IU also offers blended on-campus programmes at their campuses in Berlin and Bad Honnef. You can benefit from a more structured schedule, while still enjoying some flexibility thanks to the mix of in-person tutorials and online self-study. That way you can immerse yourself in a foreign country, build your social and professional network, and explore work-study options. At the end of your studies, you will also be eligible for an 18-month post-study visa to start your career in Germany.
IU International University of Applied Sciences has received system accreditation from EQAR, FIBAA, the German Accreditation Council, the German Council of Science and Humanities, and WES Canada. This means their courses, faculty and teaching material all match the rigorous standards that have been set for them and they can now accredit their own programmes.
IU is the first online university partner of Cambridge International's high school diploma A-Levels. Students now have a chance to earn a high school diploma while studying for a bachelor’s degree – with no additional cost. The A-Levels is a unique 12-month course with a 150-hour workload, which you take alongside your bachelor courses.
