Research
- TUS has a vibrant, innovative and contemporary research community that engages in next generation thinking to tackle issues at a regional, national and global level.
- Research takes place across 7 dedicated institutes and within research groups, centres and faculties encompassing a wide variety of disciplines from Fine Art and Design, Biotechnology, and Sustainable Development to Social Sciences, Interactive Systems, and Engineering.
Library services
From five campus locations supporting the learning, teaching and research activities at TUS. The library is committed to the provision of innovative, insightful and relevant information services and resources. As your knowledge and information skills hub we facilitate discovery, research and collaboration for our users.
Campus life
- The Athlone campus is home to 6,000 students and is renowned for its warm, friendly and inclusive campus culture, which supports students in reaching their full potential.
- Our Clonmel Digital Campus is part of the renowned TUS Limerick School of Art & Design, and although a small campus, it is a vibrant and creative hub.
- The Clare Street campus is home to our internationally renowned Limerick School of Art & Design (LSAD).
- Our Moylish Campus is located on the outskirts of Limerick city and is our principal Midwest campus.
- A lively, bustling urban centre, Ennis is proud to be a university town with Social Care Work degrees at Level 8 and Level 7 available through the CAO at the Ennis Campus on Bindon Street.

I'm enjoying the college and Athlone
Great college campus and course. The course content is very practical based and the work-based learning module in particular was the highlight. Good balance of theory delivery mixed with some industry-based practical elements. Overall a positive experience.
Supportive study environment
It's a good university, and I recommend it. I made a lot of new friends during my time here, which really made the experience enjoyable. The teachers were supportive, and overall, I felt like it was a good environment for learning.
Small Review
My experience at the university has been incredibly fulfilling. I have cherished the opportunity to expand my knowledge, engage in meaningful discussions, and receive support from everyone around me. While I encountered challenges during my journey, they have contributed to my personal growth and development. The university has provided me with numerous opportunities and a strong support system, which has been invaluable.
