History

Established in 2015 by Bank Negara Malaysia in collaboration with MIT Sloan, Asia School of Business (ASB) is committed to developing transformative and principled leaders who will create a positive impact in the emerging world and beyond.

Education

  • Asia School of Business does Action Learning unlike any other school. Featuring MIT Sloan’s Action Learning pedagogy, we believe strongly that effective learning happens only when combining the mind, hand and heart.
  •  A third of our curriculum is dedicated to on-site Action Learning projects with our corporate host partners throughout Asia and beyond. This intensity in experiential learning makes us global innovators in Action Learning.

Research

The ASB Research Seminar Series (RSS) provides a forum for academics from a broad range of disciplines to present their research work. ASB RSS are now in hybrid mode and are usually held on Wednesdays at lunchtime.

Housing services

Residensi ASB (ASBR) offers accommodation according to your requirements ranging from single rooms to family rooms and guest rooms for short stays. Our students are presented with facilities that promote a conducive living and learning environment all within reach of the gorgeous Kuala Lumpur urbanscape that you will call home during your journey with us.

Library services

The ground level (Level G) and first floor (Level 1) are public areas. Levels 2 and 3 are designed around learning and education – housing classrooms, research centers, study spaces, and a library.

Campus life

  • Students learn in a state-of-the-art, built for purpose campus newly opened in 2021. The academic campus is a six-story, 65,000 square meter facility designed to house a population of over a thousand students, faculty, and staff. 
  • Meanwhile, its adjacent residential campus is a multi-block, 28,000 square meter facility that houses up to 350 students, clients, partners, and guests.

Sports facilities

The ASB Sports Club aims to promote recreational and sporting activities, and foster a culture of camaraderie, inclusiveness and competitiveness among the wider ASB community.
