History

Founded in 1957 as Bankakademie

Education

Frankfurt School offers education and training for ambitious people. Through our strong combination of theory and practice, students are prepared for a successful international business career. We offer study programmes that allow for complete flexibility. Students can choose to study full-time, part-time or in our unique 3-day model. In addition to our Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes, Frankfurt School offers MBA programmes and a Doctoral programme, as well as Executive Education courses.

Research

The research centres enhance the spectrum of interdisciplinary and interdepartmental research at the Frankfurt School. Each research centre has its own clearly defined area of specialisation and conducts an ongoing exchange with the research community, experts from other universities and specialised journalists.

Housing services

  • Private student hostels

In private student hostels or residences, you usually have your own room and often your own bathroom. Common areas such as kitchens are often shared with other students living on the same corridor.

  • Flat share 

In a flat share, you have your own (bed)room and share the rest of the flat – kitchen, bathroom, lounge and so on – with your co-tenants. Depending on the flat’s size, amenities and location, rental prices for a room in a flat share start at around €400 per month. 

  • Renting your own flat

If none of the above options appeal to you, you should probably find a flat of your own, either for yourself or for you and your partner. 

Library services

The Library of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is an academic special library which contains basic and further readings in the fields of Economics, Management, Law, Health Management, Psychology and Philosophy. Additionally the library offers several international databases containing information concerning corporate and financial markets. 

Medical services

If you’re experiencing psychological difficulties, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management offers you the option of a preliminary consultation at one of two clinical practices in Frankfurt, free of charge.

Campus life

Frankfurt School’s Adickesallee campus is centrally located in Frankfurt’s Nordend district and forms part of the “Campusmeile” (campus mile) connecting Frankfurt’s universities and libraries. The campus was designed by Henning Larsen Architects, a Danish firm, and has become one of the city’s architectural highlights.

Student clubs

At the moment Frankfurt School almost 40 student initiatives including sport, arts & culture, social engagement and personal & professional development initiatives. A diverse and unique offering for all Frankfurt School students to participate, engage and meet fellow students from all study programmes.

That aside, Frankfurt School's Master in Auditing programme is accredited by the German Accreditation Council through FIBAA according to § 8a of the German Auditor's Code (WPO).
