Granada is the city of great cultural, historical and gastronomic traditions, and the home of three UNESCO World Heritage sites – Alhambra, Generalife and Albayzin.

The city of Granada has a significant number of parks and gardens: Campo del Príncipe Gardens, Gardens of the Royal Hospital, Gardens of the Triumph, Calle Elvira, or the Zaidín Park.
Other major landmarks in Granada include: the Cathedral, the Royal Chapel, Plaza Isabel la Catolica, Monastery of La Cartuja, Monastery of San Jerónimo, Parque de las Ciencias (Science Park), Palace of Charles V, Corral del Carbón, Palacios Nazaries, the Gigantones fountain, and more.
Main shopping areas in Granada include Puerta Real, Calle Mesones and the Centro Comercial Neptuno. Take into account the Spanish siesta, when most shops close between 13:00 to 17:00 in the afternoon.
