Marbella city life
As one of the biggest tourist cities of the Costa del Sol, Marbella is a constant marvel to any traveller coming here. From numerous cultural attractions, to simply walking by the splendid beaches, there are numerous spots to see and explore in Marbella. Check out the old town and admire ancient city walls and the two historical suburbs of the city, the Barrio Alto and the Barrio Nuevo.

Seize the sunny weather as much as you can and have splendid views of the beaches; Venus and La Fontanilla beaches are some of the most popular and easily reachable within the city centre.
There probably is no street in Marbella that hasn’t at least one bar or pub and if you’re lucky enough, you might even hit upon a place with live Spanish music.
In Marbella, golf is very popular, so you can practice this sport if you’re interested and you can even enjoy horseracing at the Hipodromo Mijas Costa.
International atmosphere in Marbella
Marbella counts thousands of tourists all year round and also welcomes a significant number of international students. Marbella is also home to several minorities, as around 25 % of the city’s population represents foreign-born residents, mainly: British, Moroccans, Germans, Ecuadoreans and Italians.
Many international business people have been interested in the area, specifically from UK, followed by investors from France, Russia and Belgium. Most foreign investors are particularly attracted to real estate, construction and hospitality projects.
Weather Marbella
Weather in Marbella is mild and pleasant, with average temperatures of around 19°C (66°F) all year-round. Summers have average daily high temperatures of 20 °C (68°F), with June being the coolest month of summer and then the temperatures gradually rising in July and August, with 28 – 29 °C (82 –84 °F) and remaining hot until the end of September. November is the rainiest month of the year and during winter average daily temperatures are 12 – 13 °C (53 – 55 °F).
