Centralized support services offices within Walden University:
Our Center for Academic Excellence (CAEX) courses, seminars, and doctoral writing workshops can help you strengthen skills that impact your current coursework and beyond. Credit is granted for most CAEX courses but does not apply toward online degree program requirements. The university has excellent staff and excellent programs. I would recommend this university to anyone. I feel like I've gotten an excellent education here. I enjoy the flexibility of doing courses online.
My experience as an online PhD student has been excellent. In person residency and live virtual coaching build so many connections and relationships throughout my journey. One of the best online universities I've been a part of. Racial compositional diversity is also very attractive, along with the community and faculty support!
It can be a good school at times. Some instructors are helpful, others not so much. Student advisors change often and are often useless. But, this may be true of all schools. The program itself is rigorous and challenging.
