History
1975 - Pacific Graduate School of Psychology (PGSP) founded in Palo Alto by prospective students and faculty who wanted to develop their professional knowledge of clinical psychology; Robert Kantor is its first President.

Housing services
Palo Alto University (PAU) does not have on-campus housing. Many PAU students live in towns that are near to where they study or receive clinical training at the Allen Calvin Campus or Stanford Psychiatry Building in Palo Alto as well as the campus located at 1172 Castro, Mountain View (including the Gronowski Center).
Accreditation
PGSP was first accredited in 1986 by the regional accrediting body, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
