LCC International University is a nationally and internationally recognized liberal arts institution in Klaipėda, Lithuania. Established in 1991 by a joint venture of Lithuanian, Canadian and American foundations, LCC has distinguished itself in the region by offering a unique, future-oriented style of education and an interactive academic environment.
LCC International University offers accredited Bachelors and Masters programs in social sciences and humanities. LCC is a liberal arts university. Therefore, each program includes multidisciplinary core curriculum courses which affirm students’ critical thinking and conflict transformation skills while challenging students within a multicultural perspective and Christian worldview.
LCC is a teaching university. Thus, our primary aim is providing high-quality teaching to our students. However, this aim is not reachable without academic and applied research. Our multidisciplinary approach to research cuts across all departments matching the various talents we have at the university. It is our aim to see our research translated into practical applications, changing lives and making real impact to local societies.

The infrastructure of LCC International University provides not only a very good learning environment, but also allows students to live comfortably on campus and to enjoy community life. Our student residences, Neumann Hall (built 2007) and Enns Hall (built 2011), are both available for EILC students in summer. The dormitories are only a 2 min walk from the academic building.

The computer lab consists of 2 classrooms of 40 computer terminals with access to Microsoft Office Professional 2007 and the internet.
All full-time Lithuanian students are insured by the Lithuanian government. All you have to do is to choose a family doctor and register.
All EU students prior to coming to LCC need to obtain the European Health Insurance Card (or EHIC) which issued free of charge in your home country and allow you to receive medical treatment in another member state for free or at a reduced cost.
In August of 1999, LCC occupied its new campus property on Kretingos street in Klaipeda. In addition to the current facilities, a campus master plan calls for future construction of dormitories and additional academic space around the small lake.
Completed in 2003, the gym is one of the best athletic facilities in Western Lithuania. The national basketball teams from Lithuania, China, Russia and Sweden have played here. Participate in Intramural competitions or join a game of 3 on 3 basketball, volleyball, hockey or football.
With support from Student Life Division, students have an opportunity to take their own initiative and participate in various activities. Every year more than 10 student organizations are active on campus that contribute to the co-curricular programming. Student Council oversees activities of all other student organizations and clubs.
