LCC International University

History

Established in 1991. Christian Liberal Arts university, established by a joint venture of Lithuanian, Canadian and American foundations. 

Education

We emphasize eight core competencies: critical thinking, conflict transformation, multicultural perspective, effective communication, Christian worldview, servant leadership, multidisciplinary knowledge and community building. Our definition of liberal arts education takes into account quantitative diversity of course work, but further emphasizes the importance of student self-transformation.

Research

  • The CFHF conducts and funds research that seeks fuller understanding of the movement of individuals and communities from "languishing" to "surviving" to "flourishing."
  • The CFHF is particularly interested in the role of Christian faith in defining and motivating the pursuit of human flourishing.
  • Opportunities include: research fellowships, postdoctoral fellowships, events, and more.

Career

  • Choosing the right career is an important decision. To help develop your career planning skills, we organize workshops and field trips as well as provide individual career counseling to students of any year.
  • Whether it’s a summer job or full-time employment after graduation, our Career Center provides students with assistance and resources for a successful transition to the real world. 

Student services

Our Success Center staff will help you get integrated into university life through freshmen orientation, first year seminar, individual support, and tutoring. 

Housing services

Built in 2007, Neumann Hall is home to students and faculty. Student rooms are shared by 4-6 residents who each have their own bed, desk & closet, share a common entry area, and a bathroom.

Library services

The Library:

  • offers a space to study individually of meet for group projects;
  • houses a rich multi-disciplinary collection of English academic, scholar print sources;
  • curates access to number of online full-text databases with scholar journals, and a number of eBooks;
  • offers lectures, workshops or individual consultation.

ICT services

The DeFehr centras is home to 12 classrooms, Neufeld auditorium, a library, 2 computer laboratories, and a Student Success Center. There you will also find staff and faculty offices.

Medical services

  • All EU students prior to coming to LCC need to obtain the European Health Insurance Card (or EHIC) is issued free of charge in your home country and allow you to receive medical treatment in another member state for free or at a reduced cost
  • All non-EU students need to obtain health insurance prior to arrival and are insured through LCC under a reliable and cost-effective insurance scheme.

Campus life

Enns Hall opened in August 2011. This residence hall is home to students and faculty residing on campus. The four floors of student living spaces include student study rooms, laundry room, and shared kitchens on each floor.

Our campus housing is more than a place to sleep. It's a vibrant learning community where students from many cultures share life together. As a resident you will make friends who last forever and be part of many meaningful activities and programs.

Sports facilities

  • Take advantage of an on-site fitness center with modern equipment and generous working hours. Get and stay in shape with the motivation and support of the community. 
  • One of the student initiatives to promote sportsmanship, strong sense of togetherness and cooperation.
  • Join student-led zumba, cheerleading, or dance classes to keep in shape.

Student clubs

Student council welcomes students who have the desire to promote self-expression, creativity, civic participation and improve the overall student environment.

LCC International University offers accredited Bachelor's and Master's programs in social sciences and humanities recognized by The Republic of Lithuania.
