History
Founded in 1865, Lehigh is a coeducational, non-denominational and private university. Located in Bethlehem, Pa., Lehigh is in close proximity to New York City (75 miles) and Philadelphia (50 miles).
Education
Lehigh students can pursue their studies across our five colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business, the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science, the College of Education and the new College of Health.

Lehigh University welcomes students from all over the world. We offer a number of services, programs, organizations and events that help international students acclimate to their new environment, and to avail themselves of all the opportunities for intellectual and personal growth that the university offers.
Housing services
Lehigh students will find a welcome home on the Asa Packer Campus in Bethlehem, where they will be immersed in a vibrant living and learning environment. Campus life
Located in Pennsylvania’s scenic Lehigh Valley, the campus is in close proximity to both New York City and Philadelphia and is right in the middle of the Mid-Atlantic corridor. The Lehigh Valley region is home to about 750,000 people, giving our students and the campus community plenty to do. Our campus is on South Mountain in Bethlehem and actually consists of three contiguous areas: The Asa Packer Campus (home to most of our academic and residential buildings), Mountaintop Campus and the Murray H. Goodman Campus (where many of our athletic facilities are located).
Sports facilities
In executing our mission we support the provision of equitable opportunities for all students and staff, in an environment where all individuals are respected and empowered. Our programs promote and provide opportunities for broad participation, challenging competition, sportsmanship, cooperation, teamwork, commitment, achievement, service to others, enjoyment and the development of enduring attributes and skills. Programs are offered with intensity levels ranging from NCAA Division I intercollegiate sports, through competitive club sports and intramural sports, to a diversified program of recreational, instructional, and fitness opportunities.
