At the University of Florida, we are a people of purpose. We're committed to challenging convention and ourselves. We see things not as they are, but as they could be. And we strive for a greater impact: one measured in people helped and lives improved.
Since our founding over 160 years ago, we’ve continually pushed the boundaries of knowledge forward. With our finger on the pulse and an eye on the horizon, we’ve pursued the greatest heights of research and innovation, always together and always for the betterment of Florida and the world.
Education
Before you can lead the charge, you have to discover your calling. So look through our library of 30 certificates, 100 undergraduate majors and 200 graduate programs. Discover your path and start toward your greater purpose.
Research
At UF, our research leads us to collaborate across departments, the state, the nation and the world. Together, our focus is on improving lives—not just in the lab or in theory, but in real life. Because we’re not just discovering breakthroughs or developing new products — we’re shaping the minds that shape the future.
t’s a process that leads to not only stronger minds, but better brains. For example, our McKnight Brain Institute is one of the nation’s most comprehensive and technologically advanced centers devoted to discovering how the normal brain operates, and how we can repair the brain following injury, disease or aging.
Career
We changed our name from the Career Resource Center to the Career Connections Center. It’s a small change from our previous name but it better represents the big impact we can have on your life. This is where Gators bridge the gap between inspiration and action, and where employers are linked to the best talent entering the work force. Whether you’re a student or alumni, the Career Connections Center will help you across the lifespan of your career.
The Career Connections Center has a range of career fairs to fit every recruiting need. From on-campus to virtual events, our fairs give you the opportunity to meet and network with talented University of Florida students and alumni.

The weather in Florida is great. College of Education is brilliant with professional faculties and knowledgeable professors. I don't think the cost is too expensive. I highly recommend this university.

Engineering studies in Gainesville
Uf is like any other university, just in Florida. It has a nice campus. Gainesville is a lil' wacky, and expensive. Professors are great, admin are tragically misguided. I imagine that i am much happier going here than most students because I am a Florida resident.

Great School if you're in state
I think UF offers great resources at an affordable price, especially for in state students with bright futures. The only thing that sucks at UF is the financial aid office and advising.
