The New Hampshire IDeA Network of Biological Research Excellence (NH-INBRE) is a state-wide initiative designed to:

  • Increase opportunities for students and faculty at Partner institutions to participate in original scientific research;
  • Expand the base of ongoing research and research capacity at the Lead and Partner institutions and support the associated research cultures;
  • Increase the frequency at which students who graduate from Partner institutions continue doing biomedical research in graduate education or employment;
  • Enhance the science and technology training of the NH workforce; and,
  • Enhance the bioinformatics infrastructure that is required for modern biomedical research.

The Office of Career & Life Planning (CLP) helps students:

  • Develop career and life plans consistent with their skills, interests, values and personal characteristics;
  • Acquire skills by engaging in internships, service activities, and study abroad;
  • Demonstrate the results of their experiences in and out of the classroom and effectively present themselves; and,
  • Make connections in the world of work and further study.

Services

Student services

Student Senate – comprised of students from all different aspects of campus – comes together once a week to make large decisions on behalf of the student body. The club corresponds with faculty, staff, and administration on behalf of student concerns and desires, and in doing that they have become the recognized voice of the students. Senate also receives funding to spend on capital expense items chosen by the student body. Although the organization is made up of an executive board and senators, any student is encouraged to attend the meetings and voice their opinions.
