Student services

You will have access to Griffith University’s comprehensive range of student support services, including programs and staff dedicated specifically to helping international students.

Griffith also has International Student Advisors, if you need extra information or support, you can make an in-person or online appointment with one of them.

International Student Advisors provide information to support you to manage your life and your studies within the conditions of your student visa. Our team of dedicated and highly experienced staff can answer any questions throughout your time

Housing services

Whether you would like to live on campus or off campus, there are several options you can explore to find housing to suit your needs. Options include homestay, which allows you to experience life with a local family while you study.

Library services

Become acquainted with the library—we have five libraries with a range of resources for study, including computers, quiet study areas, group work spaces, and two provide 24/7 secure after-hours study spaces. The library has helpful staff as well as a range of online resources to help you with different aspects of your academic life, including assignments, referencing, exam prep and more!

Medical services

If you need a doctor, there are health and medical services located on the Gold Coast and Brisbane South (Nathan) campuses, as well as medical centres and hospitals near every campus. If you need someone to talk to about personal issues, we offer free, confidential counselling sessions on our campuses and a range of online counselling options.

Our five campuses are a thriving network of learning and innovation.

Spanning three cities in South East Queensland, our four physical campuses are located at Nathan, South Bank, Logan, and the Gold Coast. Our digital campus is located at your fingertips and spans the globe. Each campus environment, whether physical or digital, has state of the art facilities, and support services to make university life easier and enjoyable.

 

Sports facilities

Griffith offers a variety of sporting facilities and competitions. You can join Griffith Sport for social sport competitions or enjoy discounted student memberships for facilities including:

• on-campus gyms

• aquatic centre and athletics track at Gold Coast campus

• sports fields and squash courts at Brisbane South (Nathan)

Student clubs

Griffith has over 100 clubs in cultural, religious, political, educational, sporting, professional and special interest areas. There are also international student clubs, societies and associations.
