Library services

The Library proactively supports and enhances the learning, teaching, and research activities of the University. The Library acts as a catalyst for your success as University of Galway’s hub for scholarly information discovery, sharing, and publication.

ICT services

ISS will support the University to achieve its goals by providing leadership in the development and provision of a fit for purpose IT service to staff and students underpinned by an aligned, motivated, innovative and empowered team.‌

Medical services

The Student Health Unit provides on-campus medical care to full-time registered students in a confidential, professional and courteous manner. We continue to operate in line with Public Health advice and guidance to reduce the risk of any potential COVID-19 virus transmission among our students and staff.

Sports facilities

University of Galway recognises the relationship between academic performance, health and wellbeing and in support of this the Sport and Recreation Unit has a mission to promote participation in sport and physical activities by all students and staff and to support higher standards of performance in sport and physical activity for elite sports individuals and teams within University of Galway.
