Full Sail University began 1979 in Dayton, Ohio, as an audio recording workshop. It provided unparalleled opportunity for students to become familiar with the industry through real-world experience in professional studio environments. Full Sail eventually relocated to Central Florida, planting roots in its current Winter Park location in 1989.

Although Full Sail does not offer on-campus housing or dorms, our Housing Resources department has established relationships with these apartment communities and can provide you with information about your options.
Full Sail University is excited to announce the reopening of the Library on campus with changes made to benefit students.Located in Building 3, the Library has now doubled in size to provide more spaces to work and socialize. The new circulation/reception desk is larger and a small café area has been added featuring vending machines and seating.
