Michigan Technological University began as the Michigan Mining School in Houghton in 1885. Established by the state of Michigan to train mining engineers to better operate the local copper mines, the school started with four faculty members and 23 students on the second floor of a building on Montezuma Avenue in Houghton.
Today, more than 60 percent of Michigan Tech students are enrolled in our 12 undergraduate and 29 graduate engineering programs across nine departments. Our students and curriculum embrace the spirit of hard work and fortitude our founders once had.

Student Leadership and Involvement aims to provide opportunities for Michigan Tech students to get involved! We plan and support extracurricular experiences for Huskies to grow, serve, connect, and lead. Our office provides support for everything from late night programs, fraternity & sorority life, tech traditions, leadership programs, community service events, and more than 240 organizations!
The library’s journal collection is 98% digital with a deep collection of printed historical engineering journals. As of January, 2017, students and faculty have access to 32,000 direct subscriptions (mainly in STEM disciplines) and additional access to 121,000 other serial titles.

it's a great place for getting an MBA. The environment in Cambridge, Massachusetts is very safe and clean, which makes it a comfortable place to live and study. I would highly recommend getting a degree, especially a master's, at MIT.
I found out how unique my university really is after visiting another university on erasmus. As we are only a few students(5 exactly) the learning experience is really different compared to other universities our there. I see a lot of personal growth for all students as the proffesors can easily focus on each students individually and help them improve. Ofcourse it has its ups and downs but overall, not a bad experience.
Well, this has been a great experience from the beginning. What I love is how structured you present the information to be easily understood. Infact i loved everything. Thankyou
