History

The original chapter of the University of San Diego was written on a brisk early winter afternoon in December of 1949, when local dignitaries joined Bishop Charles Francis Buddy and Mother Rosalie Clifton Hill for a groundbreaking ceremony atop a wind-swept mesa overlooking the burgeoning San Diego cityscape.

Education

Academic departments across the university have developed comprehensive assessment plans that identify outcomes for student learning, summary analyses of student performance and plans for improvement to achieve short-term and long-term goals. Faculty can access guidelines, templates and samples to help guide them in this process by consulting with their department chairs for assessment planning.

Institutional Learning Outcomes at USD are the layering of USD’s core values, program-learning outcomes, and undergraduate and graduate learning outcomes.

Comprehensive training and academic commitment

My experience at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) has been enriching. I highlight the quality of the faculty, who demonstrate a high level of training and commitment to the academic development of their students.

Challenging experience, enriching journey.

Universidad Autnoma de Santo Domingo has been an absolute challenge because i have had to travel to many parts of my country to attend different campuses due to the lack of courses at my main campus. However, despite the challenge, the process has been completely worth it since the university has excellent professors who truly care about their students' learning. Thanks to that, i am currently in my final semester of my degree in Foreign Languages. Beyond that, i also have met many wonderful people with whom i am still in contact today.

Warm and fun artistic community

CUAAD is the campus in guadalajara that belongs to arts, architecture, design and visual studies. As an LGBTQ or neurodivergent person, you will feel welcome since so many activities for and by the students take place at all times during the school year. Going from fashion shows, theatrical makeup, celebrating "Dia de muertos" and watching the projects of all of the students by the end of the year. Surrounded by galleries and the historical "Teatro Degollado", you will be having a great time with the community of this campus.
