The Stevens family changed the face of American engineering forever, designing steamboats, locomotives, railroad tracks and a host of other technical innovations that powered a new nation.

Research

Research awards in FY16 were $35.8 million, down from a high of $42.8 million in FY15 (which included several multi-million grants), but higher than the previous four years. Highly-competitive “early career” awards from prestigious federal agency programs have increased sharply.

Exploring the study life at NHL Stenden

NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences is recognized for providing diverse programs across various disciplines, including business, hospitality, tourism, media, and technology. The international atmosphere, working in small teams and working with real life clients made it a good experience. However, it was often very chaotic and many tutors didn't communicate well with the students. However, in general it was a very good experience studying at NHL and I learned a lot for the life.
