The Health Service Fee is a mandatory fee that is charged along with a student’s tuition. The Health Service Fee is NOT part of the Campus Care program, but works in conjunction to provide comprehensive medical coverage to our students.

I liked the class schedules available for students working full time. I took the train in, so I can't comment on parking. My classmates were all supportive. I would recommend attending UIC Education programs. Loved my instructors too.
The school is extremely diverse with a bustling student population located near downtown Chicago. Many of the students are commuters however, which has an impact on the school culture as a whole. On the academics end, the school is excellent and has a plethora of laboratories and study resources, including an enormous library. The campus is surrounded by several restaurants and really provides an inner city feel, but this comes at it own price as Chicago is still Chicago.
UIC is a great research community with lots of support! The diverse student community and faculty makes it a very enjoyable place for graduate students to explore a variety of interdepartmental opportunities.
