Medical College of Wisconsin

The Medical College of Wisconsin brings together the most inquisitive minds in science, medicine, education and community engagement to solve the toughest challenges in health and society today. Academic medicine is at the core, where scientists, physicians and students work hand-in-hand with the community to ask the questions no one else is, and fuel the continuous cycle of knowledge.

Since 1893, MCW has been a leader in patient care, research, education and community engagement.

MCW is the place where you will learn everything you need to become a successful physician, and will embrace a quest for knowledge as a lifelong journey. It is also the place where you can choose among three campuses, several Scholarly Pathways and two options for the pace of your medical education. This is medical school your way.

Science is the driver of innovation and knowledge that can change everything—from the way we define, diagnose, treat and prevent disease, to the methods we employ to improve our communities, to the types of training we offer to the next generation of healers, educators and researchers.

Through laboratory research, clinical trials and community-engaged research, we seek answers. We collaborate with local, national and global innovators. We question everything, and we persevere through every stage of discovery in pursuit of life-changing advancements.

MCW Graduate School Career Services offers a diverse array of services to help MCW graduate students and postdoctoral fellows explore and achieve their career goals.

Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to begin using the services early in their graduate career, which include individual career counseling, up-to-date and relevant career resources, workshops, and professional development programs.
