Since 1978 IAAD. - Istituto d'Arte Applicata e Design has been training new generations of successful designers who combine respect for the tradition of Italian design with research and innovation to create goods and services of social value and cultural significance that meet the needs of the market.

- During each academic year, IAAD. organizes a career day that involves companies, agencies, professional studios, institutions and associations that operate in the different areas of study related to IAAD.’s degree courses.
Housing services
Being an off-site student requires you to fully focus on your commitment to school, without have to think about finding a place to stay. IAAD. supports off-site students in the search for housing solutions and/or temporary accommodation, in addition to the university residences option. This service shares contacts and references so that students can find accommodation to match their preferences and others to share housing with.
Library services
A physical and virtual library for consulting texts and magazines, a library for digital design, access to the Material Connexion design platform and to textile collections are only some of the services that IAAD. Teche offers its community.
ICT services
IAAD. Turin is equipped with multimedia laboratories with capacities ranging from 25 to 31 workstations. Each laboratory contains specific hardware and software for the different types of activities taught at the Institute.
Campus life
IAAD.’s location in Turin, within in a vast repurposed area that was home to a power plant at the end of the 19th century, is the result of a collaboration between public and private entities.
