The University of Waikato Library (Te Iho o Te Manawataki) is a tech-enabled research and study hub spanning physical campuses in Hamilton and Tauranga alongside a robust online network. Located primarily within Hamilton's Te Manawa Student Centre, it provides students and researchers with 24/7 computer labs, collaborative group spaces, and a digital-first catalogue featuring hundreds of thousands of e-books and journals. Notably, the library is the custodian of the University Art Collection and features Mātangireia, a specialized resource hub dedicated to Māori, Pacific, and Indigenous knowledge.

As a Waikato student based in Hamilton, you have access to low-cost consultations and prescriptions if you register with our on-campus Student Health Service.
There's also a Health Centre on the Tauranga campuses but there's no need to register for the service.

I'm very happy to say that I got an opportunity to study in one of the prestigious institutions in the world. I hear a lot about Waikato University. I feel like lucky to join in this university.l
I really enjoyed my time at the university. The professors were knowledgeable and always willing to help, and the curriculum was engaging with a good balance of theory and practical work. I particularly appreciated the hands-on projects and opportunities to collaborate with classmates, which helped me develop both academically and personally. The campus environment was welcoming, though some facilities could be updated to enhance the learning experience. Overall, it was a very positive and rewarding experience that prepared me well for my future career.
The University of Waikato has good course structures and lecturers. I found that my papers were well organized and presented so that I could easily understand. The lecturers are also very dedicated and I felt that they often went out of their way to help myself or my classmates when we were struggling. Furthermore, there is great campus life including student activities, restaurants and clubs, which make the university feel like a great place to spend time with friends and colleagues. Overall, I would recommend the University of Waikato as a place of study and am myself going to return to complete my masters.
