Middlesex University was first established as a university in 1992. In 2005, Middlesex University expanded its global footprint with the inauguration of a campus in Dubai. Presently, Middlesex University Dubai stands as the largest UK university in Dubai with 5,600+ students from 120+ nationalities.
Middlesex University Dubai is one of the UAE’s leading providers of a UK degree. It is licensed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and has a 5-Star KHDA Higher Education Classification, demonstrating a world-class standard of education. KHDA’s University Quality Assurance International Board reviews all programmes to ensure the quality of teaching and learning is equivalent to those in London. The Dubai campus is an integral part of this review process. The programmes taught in Dubai have the same validation and monitoring system as in London, with the same examinations taken simultaneously in both cities. Students are awarded their degree certificate from Middlesex University in the UK.

The Library provides millions of online and print resources, and knowledgeable and supportive staff. The library provides the resources needed for each programme module via its substantial range of specialised print and e-book collections, online databases, and e-journals. There is also a dedicated Law Library and Silent Study area and printing, photocopying and scanning facilities.
The University provides various IT facilities and support services as part of its student learning resources. Students can bring their own device to campus and work in their own space by connecting to the University’s wireless network. Each computer lab is equipped with printers. The University also offers a free on-campus laptop loan service. IT support staff are available during office hours.
Middlesex University Dubai promotes the physical and emotional wellbeing of its students and staff. Medical insurance is provided as part of the student visa and can be used at a range of healthcare facilities around Dubai and the UAE. The Wellness Office promotes physical and mental wellbeing, offering counselling, learning disability support, campus events and activities and other services.
The University has two campuses; one is located in Dubai Knowledge Park (DKP) and the other is located in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC).
The DKP campus is housed across Blocks 15, 16, 17 and 19 and features state-of-the-art classrooms equipped for hybrid learning; labs for Graphic Design, Robotics, Engineering, VR, Cybersecurity, and Fashion Design; and an exciting student recreation centre the MDX Social Hub, which is home to our Dance Studio, Gaming Room.
The DKP campus is located in the heart of Dubai near the city’s creative business hubs Media City and Internet City, the campus is also close to major landmarks and lively neighbourhoods such as Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina and the Burj Al Arab.Our campus offers a variety of opportunities for our students to participate and compete in a range of sports while studying. We have a team of dedicated sports faculty on campus and also offer a Team Middlesex Sporting Excellence Scholarship for talented athletes.

Middlesex University Dubai is very helpful University
My experience studying at Middlesex University Mauritius has been positive overall. Classes were consistently held on time, and lecturers provided valuable feedback and guidance throughout assignments and projects, which helped support my academic development. The campus environment is also a highlight, as it is aesthetically pleasing, peaceful, and provides a comfortable space for learning. However, there are areas where the student experience could be improved. Communication could be more diverse, as most updates are primarily shared through emails. A student newsletter or similar platform could help showcase student achievements, promote student skills, advertise businesses, and create more opportunities for engagement within the university community. Additionally, some system administration issues took longer than expected to resolve, which occasionally affected the overall experience. Middlesex provides a supportive academic environment with dedicated teaching staff, and with improvements in communication and administrative processes, the student experience could be enhanced even further.
It is really amazing experience I made a lot of connections, learn a lot of useful things for my future, the degree is really clear and useful like i have a eligible UK degree with honours while studying in Dubai. it offered me a lot of opportunities to that were also given by the university itself. highly recommend
