The Engineering Institute of Technology has emerged from its founding organisation, IDC Technologies, which is an international provider of practical, technical training. Since its conception in 1991, five hundred thousand engineers, technicians and technologists have been trained globally.
The Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) has been delivering industry-driven programs for over 10 years. EIT offers Australian accredited engineering Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Graduate Certificates, Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate Degrees.
EIT also deliver non-accredited Professional Certificates of Competency, which are designed to impart skills that can be immediately implemented in the workplace making them ideal for ongoing professional development.
Both online and on-campus students need support, encouragement, and a go-to person. EIT students are supported by dedicated Learning Support Officers (LSOs) for the duration of their studies, giving them a greater chance of success. For EIT's on-campus students, the Student Services team is committed to creating a supportive learning environment appropriate to the age, stage, background, and circumstances of the diverse student population. EIT delivers sensitive and respectful support for student wellbeing and provide a referral to other professionals where appropriate.
Accommodation for international students is as varied as the requirements of the students themselves! Perth and Melbourne both have many options available.
EIT offers free advice on locating appropriate and convenient home-stays, rental accommodation, and temporary short term lodgings such as hostels or serviced apartments for their on-campus students in Perth and Melbourne.
The Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) programs cover a variety of engineering disciplines and a breadth of levels from short professional development to Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Masters and Doctorate; therefore, a variety or library resources and collections are required to support these programs.
Whether you have forgotten a password, have trouble accessing EIT's student management system, learning platform, or remote and virtual labs, EIT provides assistance with information technology queries. The dedicated Learning Support Officer are the key point of contact in seeking assistance. For on campus students there are also classrooms with computer and internet access.
EIT has two main campus buildings, one located in Perth, Western Australia and one in Melbourne, Victoria.
