History

Research

  • MU has the nation’s most powerful University research reactor and is the largest U.S. producer of radioisotopes for diagnosing and treating cancer.
  • The University has 17 research farms, research centers and forests covering more than 14,500 acres.
  • Student Training for Advancing Research (S.T.A.R.) is a recognition program created by the Office of Undergraduate Research. If you earn your S.T.A.R., that means you have completed a series of Undergraduate Research Workshops and/or online compliance trainings.

Career

  • The MU Career Center is a member of the MU Career Services Council, a network comprised of career services offices at the University of Missouri and their professional staff. 
  • The Council serves as a gateway for students to experiential education, post-graduate employment and advanced degree work.
