Biology and Behavior Across the Lifespan Organized Research CenterThe USGA is a campuswide student government that represents all UMB students on campus. It consists of Student Senators who are elected each year to represent the seven professional and graduate schools at monthly senate meetings (usually the second Wednesday of each month). The USGA Senate meetings are centered around issues and events that involve all UMB schools and their respective students.
Fayette Square is the perfect building if you're a UMB grad student who's looking for a safe and secure place to live that is in close proximity to the UMB campus. Filled with tons of study spaces for those late nights, as well as washer/dryers, fully furnished apartments, elevators, and even a gym.
UMB's libraries offer information resources and services to help students, faculty, and staff excel. With a wealth of databases, tutorials, study spaces, journals, and outstanding book collections, the HS/HSL and the Thurgood Marshall Law Library are well worth your visit.
The Center for Information Technology Services (CITS) is the central information technology organization for UMB. Our mission and focus is to treat UMB students, faculty, staff, colleagues, and co-workers as treasured customers. Excellence in service to the UMB community is our challenge and responsibility.
Student Health Center:
Located in Baltimore, the campus consists of 71 acres with 6.5 million gross square feet of space in 62 buildings.
UMB was first accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education in 1921. The most recent on-site evaluation was April 2016. At its session on June 23, 2016 the Middle States Commission on Higher Education acted to reaffirm accreditation and to commend UMB for the quality of the self-study process and report. The next mid-point peer review is scheduled for 2021. The next self-study evaluation is scheduled for 2024-2025.
