Indiana University South Bend

When IU was founded in 1820, it was one of the first public universities west of the Allegheny Mountains. Today it is one of the top public research universities in the world.

Our degrees for dreamers, doers, and leaders will prepare you for whatever comes next. You can study practically anything here, and many of our programs are among the world’s best.

Whichever on-campus or online degree you choose, you’ll earn an Indiana University degree. It connects you with more than 690,000 living IU graduates—and it shows you’re ready to shine.

The Career Services Office (CSO) serves students, alumni and employers through a variety of services. We offer students, in all stages of their education, career counseling and assessments, resume and cover letter reviews, job search advice and more. Students and employers can take advantage of our on-line recruiting system, IUSBCareers, for job postings (full-time, part-time, internships) and career fairs.

Housing services

Our many locations and IU Online offer a learning environment for every kind of student. Wherever you study, you’ll earn an Indiana University degree and find a community where you belong.

If you’re a domestic first-time freshman or transfer student, we’ve made it easier, faster, and more affordable to apply to more than one IU campus.
