Research
- The Jefferson Institute for Bioprocessing (JIB) is the first – and only – specialized education and training institute for biopharmaceutical processing in North America that combines commercial single-use processing equipment with the internationally recognized National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) curriculum.

Student services
- The Office of Student Life & Engagement is established as an integral part of the Jefferson (Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University) University academic, social, wellness, and cultural experiences.
- The programs and services offered by Student Life & Engagement will work in collaboration with the faculty and staff to provide for a more holistic and student centric education for all students.
- The Office of Student Life & Engagement is the home of student events & activities planning, student organization management, new student university orientation programs, student leadership training, and wellness & recreation programs.

Medical services
- Announcing the partnership between the two health care systems in which Kennedy Health will serve as the southern New Jersey core of Jefferson Health.
- This marks the first time a Philadelphia health system has fully merged with one in southern New Jersey.

Sports facilities
- With 17 men’s and women’s varsity teams, countless intramural and athletic clubs, yoga and meditation classes and state-of-the-art facilities, we ensure that students are exercising their mind, body and spirit.
- The Gallagher Athletic, Recreation and Convocation Center, home to three basketball courts, a state-of-the-art fitness center, aerobics studio, racquetball court and elevated jogging track, as well as a two-level parking garage.
Student clubs
- The Graduate Student Association was formed in 1969 to provide a link among graduate students, Jefferson College of Biomedical Sciences administration and faculty and the surrounding Philadelphia community.
- The purpose of Jefferson Muslim Student Association is to provide services for Muslim members of the Jefferson community and to educate the Jefferson community in the religious, social and cultural aspects of Islam and peoples of the Muslim world
- The Jefferson Jewish Student Association is an organization devoted to allowing Jewish students on campus to stay connected with their culture, educating the community about Jewish practices, and working towards improving the experiences of Jewish Patients.
- Thomas Jefferson University is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
