It began with our founders envisioning a humble thought of ‘creating affordable educational experiences”; that would remain ‘accessible to all’; a motive which drives us proudly each day at the institution whilst symbolizing ‘trust’, ‘excellence’ & never compromising on ‘quality and a cost-conscious approach’.
Westford is a respected and sought after academic institution offering advanced and tertiary qualifications in management, fashion & industry relevant ‘professional certifications’ supported with degrees, diplomas from globally accredited bodies and universities to aspiring learners in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, UK, Asia and rest of the World.
Westford operates from our main campus within the ITEC building, Al Taawun Sharjah, and the Al Zahia campus from the Sharjah Book Authority Premises.
To add to the leadership and research quality of its students, Westford has introduced an annual boot camp that aims to fill the gap in knowledge and skills for students who are at a managerial position or are researchers in their field of expertise.

I find the academic environment welcoming and supportive, which encourages collaboration with both classmates and lecturers. The campus offers up-to-date facilities, along with access to helpful learning resources that support coursework and research. These factors contribute positively to the quality of the learning experience.
I have honestly had a really good experience here. The teaching quality is solid, the curriculum makes sense, and the overall learning environment feels supportive and motivating. Most of the staff genuinely care about students and always try their best to help whenever we need it. Whether it�s extra explanations, feedback, or just encouragement, they�re there for us. It makes studying here feel a lot less stressful and way more enjoyable.
As a student in Game Design and Production at Abertay University, I can honestly say this is one of the best choices I've ever made. Coming in excited but nervous, I was blown away by how passionate and industry-experienced the professors are�they've worked on real, award-winning games and actually care about pushing us to succeed. Their feedback is super specific and helpful, which has helped me level up my skills massively.What really stands out are the state-of-the-art facilities, like the huge PlayStation labs with the latest dev kits, and the hands-on projects where we build full game prototypes from scratch. Being part of interdisciplinary teams feels just like working in a real studio, and it's incredibly rewarding! I even got to participate in the Dare Academy competition last summer�our team's game got showcased, and it was such a thrill seeing industry pros give us feedback. Moments like that make me feel truly prepared for the industry.The campus vibe in Dundee is welcoming, and the small uni size means you get real one-on-one time with lecturer. Sure, the workload can be intense, but it's the good kind�creative and challenging�and seeing my designs come to life is so exciting and fulfilling.
