Université Côte d’Azur aims to develop a new, 21st-century model for French universities, based on new interactions between disciplines, a new form of coordination between research, teaching, and innovation, and strong partnerships with the private sector and local authorities.

Top reasons to study here

  • The Université Côte d`Azur is made up of 13 Outstanding institutions, working together as ONE UNIVERSITY.
  • It is a research-intensive university, which was awarded the label and financing of the prestigious "Initiative of Excellence" (IDEX) in 2016.
  • The scope of UCA thus brings together all the public and private entities of higher learning and research, well-known and visible on the international scene.

Université Côte d’Azur was created in 2015, to bring to life the collective ambition of the major players in higher education and research on the French Riviera.

The UCA is offering international degree programs, master's and bachelor's programs.

The international degree programs offered by the Université Côte d'Azur emphasize excellence and innovative pedagogy. These are a new generation of training programs, which offer a master’s level degree, supported by the Initiative of Excellence (IDEX).

The level of requirements and quality of international degree programs are characterized by:

  •  intensive courses with reduced class sizes
  •  a multidisciplinary approach
  •  the use of new educational technology
  •  instruction entirely in English
  •  50% international students.

The research policy developed by the Université Côte d’Azur is part of a coherent and ambitious site policy and a strong international strategy.

A research-intensive University, the Université Côte d'Azur also wishes to strengthen the link between training and research. This is why it is progressively restructuring the University Research Schools . The main objective of a University Research School is to bring together research laboratories  with the same transdisciplinary dynamic, the master’s programs and the Doctoral Schools  within the same thematic field, to guarantee the excellence of the training programs and their related research endeavors.
