When Joseph Baldwin, an innovative educator, opened a school in the 1860s, he probably did not expect for it to have such a big impact. Originally founded as a teacher’s college, Truman State University has evolved into Missouri’s only public liberal arts and sciences institution.
Truman provides many different venues for both undergraduate and graduate students to participate in original research, whether classroom-based or faculty-directed research projects. There are also several summer research programs dedicated to fostering student research, such as the McNair Program and the TruScholars Program.

High quality university. Practice oriented courses are offered. University has high budget. There is a strong collaboration between uni and companies. Only problematic part is, there are too many students and not enough university staff. It takes a few months to have thesis
Great school for the price. The town is lacking due to the small number of students and residents. Small town is slow if you prefer a bustling atmosphere. Some professors make classes more difficult then they need to be purely due to communication barriers.
My university is great, the secretary staff work hard to our students, they style our programms and our timetable in the better way as possible. The only problem is that no many teachers bring up studio cases or something like that, hence, many subjects remains too theorical and also static.
